Dr. Sharon began his extensive training at Yale University and completed his medical training at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Sharon has been in practice as an obstetrician and gynecologist in south Georgia since completing his residency in 1998 and established Azalea Women’s Center in early 2001.

Dr. Sharon has continued his post graduate training in numerous areas including bio identical hormone replacement therapy and pellets. He has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and has completed courses in advanced laparoscopy, robotic surgery, and endometrial ablation. He has completed hundreds of TVTO sling procedures for stress incontinence and is the only GYN physician in Valdosta offering InterStim therapy for overactive bladder and rectal incontinence. Dr. Sharon continues to remain up to date with the latest medical and surgical treatment options in women’s health!

They are excellent! I am always in and out no problems! Dr. Sharon is very sweet and knows his job. He is always helpful when I have questions, He delivered my first child (my son) via c-section 10-10-17 He made my first pregnancy experience a great one. Along with Mrs. Sharon she is amazing, friendly and is really there to help you through anything. She is down to earth and always smiling. She will also answer any questions you have.
